Jewelry is something we should all treat with love and care, as it should be treasured and enjoyed. To ensure that you and your jewelry stay happy, here are some basic guidelines for jewelry care:
1. Store your jewelry in a dark and dry area, like a jewelry box. This helps prevent your jewelry from tarnishing and ensures it stays looking its best.
2. Try to avoid getting your jewelry wet, as it can cause damage to the materials used to make it, such as tarnishing.
3. Metals typically don’t like things like perfumes, lotions, and hairsprays, so try not to put these products on when you are wearing your jewelry.
4. Lastly, make sure to put your jewelry on last and take it off first when you’re getting ready. This helps reduce the risk of tangling or damage to the jewelry.
By following these simple tips, you should be able to keep your jewelry looking its best for many years to come!

If you want to clean your jewelry at home, there are a few simple steps you can take. First, make sure to always start by soaking your jewelry in a glass of warm water with a drop or two of non-detergent soap (hand soap). This will help to remove any oils and loosen any buildup. After a few minutes, remove your jewelry and pat it dry with a soft cloth.
For further cleaning, you can use a very soft, worn toothbrush to carefully remove any dirt particles or debris. Additionally, you can use special silver cleaning cloths or a nonabrasive nail buffer (NOT a nail file) to restore the shine of your jewelry. I recommend the following products for both of these items:
Silver Cleaning Cloth: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MQSYU6X/ref=cm_sw_r_tw_dp_U_x_pTtHDb64Q8MBV
Nonabrasive Nail Buffer: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B073XKPJ8F/ref=cm_sw_r_tw_dp_U_x_4tVDb3X9XZHGK
Just remember to always handle your jewelry with care and avoid using any abrasive cleaners or tools that may damage your jewelry over time.

I offer a service to clean jewelry that I have made. All you need to do is mail the pieces to me and pay the shipping cost plus a $5 cleaning fee. That way, I can professionally clean and restore your jewelry, returning it to its original condition.
For pieces made by other jewelers, unfortunately, unless it is stamped with the metal’s information, I won't be able to clean them for you. Of course, you can always take them to a local jeweler who can help you with that.
